Oracle数据库要求在SQL中的WHERE子句使用的项不超过1000。否则,就会引发ORA-01795错误。如果值需要与超过1000的值进行比较,就必须使用IN。那么这个规则对PostgreSQL是否也同样有约束呢?下面,我们写一个简单的程序来找出这个问题的答案。

这是一个简单的测试应用程序,有一个简单的表即可在Oracle数据库中使用,也可用在PostgreSQL数据库中使用。

Oracle: 创建一个单列的表并插入一行

构建SQL查询

运行查询

当在Oracle数据库执行上面的SQL查询语句时,就会出现ORA-01795错误:

java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000

而在PostgreSQL数据库中没有这样的限制,如下所示:

在使用Oracle数据库时,我们需要使用别的方法来避免出现ORA-01795错误。但在PostgreSQL中,当值多达一百万时,它依然能够处理,虽然处理速度有些慢。
